Our own Scott Jorgensen will compete next at UFC 177, August 30. Scott will be welcoming 2008 Olympic Freestyle Wrestling gold medalist Henry Cejudo to the Octagon.

After claiming gold at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Cejudo retired from competition before an attempted comeback in 2012 for the London Olympics. When he was unsuccessful in his attempt for a second Olympic gold, Cejudo made the transition to MMA where he has compiled a record of 6-0.

A veteran of nearly 30 MMA bouts, with 19 of them under the Zuffa banner. Jorgensen (15-9) last competed in June, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Danny Martinez and earning “Fight of the Night” honors.

UFC 177 comes to you from Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, CA. This will be an exciting fight and a great victory for Scott!
