Combat Fitness/SBG Idaho athlete, Scott Jorgensen will take part in Grapple at the Garden, live on PPV, Sunday, December 21 at Madison Square Garden. Jorgensen will compete as part of Team Renzo Gracie, as he takes on Bellator bantamweight champion, Joe Warren, in a freestyle wrestling match. This is a huge honor and we are extremely proud of Scott’s selection as a particpant.
This event marks a return to his roots for Jorgensen, as he was a decorated amateur wrestler before making the transition to mixed martial arts. Scott was a 2-time high school state champion and 3-time PAC-10 conference champion for Boise State University.
Grapple at the Garden is an exciting and innovative wrestling event, featuring competition in folkstyle and international styles (freestyle and Greco-Roman) of wrestling. These events will feature athletes at the youth, high school, collegiate and international levels, as well as a handful of well known mixed martial artists.
