Jorgensen Drops Close Decision At UFC Fight Night

SJ

Combat Fitness/SBG Idaho athlete, Scott Jorgensen, came up just short in his bout with Manny Gamburyan this past weekend at UFC Fight Night: Mir vs. Duffee in San Diego, CA.

Their contest was difficult to score, as each round was marked by competitive exchanges both on the ground and standing, with Jorgensen being the busier fighter standing and Gamburyan being more aggressive with his takedowns and submission attempts. In the end, it appeared that Gamburyan’s brief bursts of power punches and advantage in the takedowns were enough to sway the judges in his favor.

We’re proud of you Scotty, keep your chin up!!!
