Combat Fitness/SBG Idaho athlete, Shino VanHoose will make her return to the cage at Intense Championship Fighting 22: Tough Enough To Fight In Pink, on Friday, October 16, at the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, Montana. Originally scheduled to face Invicta FC veteran Liz McCarthy, Shino (3-3) will now be facing Jody Lynn Riecher (0-1) in a professional atomweight (105 lbs) contest.
Shino last competed in April of 2014 when she traveled to South Korea to face the number 3 ranked atomweight fighter in the world, Korea’s Seo Hee Ham. Though she came up short on the judges scorecards in that bout, Shino showed her skill and mettle, going the distance with the larger and more experienced Ham. We are incredibly excited to see Shino finally compete on US soil!!!
Proceeds from ICF 22 will go towards the fight against breat cancer and will feature several other female bouts. Check out http://www.221industries.com/index.php?page=home2 for more information.
