Combat Fitness/SBG Idaho professionals, Freddy Arteaga, Ricky Steele, and Matt Jones have been added to Front Street Fights 7, November 13, 2015 at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho. All three matchups will feature international competition.
Freddy Arteaga (6-3) will take on Yoni Sherbatov (3-0) in the flyweight (125 lb) co-main event. Arteaga is currently riding a two fight win streak, with both victories coming via TKO. Sherbatov makes his stateside debut from Russia by way of Canada and brings with him an undefeated professional record.
Ricky Steele (3-0) locks horns with Alan Leal (4-1) in a bantamweight (135 lb) showdown. Steele returns to the FSF cage following his unanimous decision victory at the Resurrection Fighting Championships this past March. Leal comes to FSF from the MMA hotbed of Brazil and will also be making his stateside debut.
Matthew Jones (3-1) toes the line against Brazilian, Regivaldo Carvalho (3-0) in a high stakes featherweight (145 lb) contest. Jones enters this matchup on a three fight winning streak, with all wins coming by way of first round submission. Carvalho, a teammate of Leal at King Shark MMA, makes his stateside debut on the strength of an undefeated professional record, with all victories coming by way of stoppage.
Arteaga, Steele, Jones will join teammate and main event participant, Scott Thometz, in what is shaping up to be one of the most exciting MMA events in Idaho history!!!
