Good news for Veta Arteaga fans, her Bellator 172 appearance can now be seen during the televised main card!!!
Originally scheduled for the spike.com prelims, Arteaga’s (2-1. 1-1 BMMA) flyweight (125 lb) showdown with Brooke Mayo (0-0, 0-0 BMMA) was moved to the televised portion of the broadcast when injury forced the cancellation of Adam Piccolotti’s lightweight (155 lb) bout with Brent Primus. Known for fast paced, all action fights, Arteaga was a natural choice to step into the vacant spot!
Going down on February 18 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, Bellator 172 will be shown on Spike TV, beginning at 7pm MT/9pm ET. Arteaga vs Mayo is scheduled as the second televised fight.
