This Thursday, SBG Idaho brown belt, coach, and professional mixed martial artist, Veta Arteaga, returns to the Bellator MMA cage at Bellator 250: Mousasi vs Lima at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
Arteaga (5-4 MMA, 4-4 BMMA) looks to get back in the flyweight title hunt when she takes on promotional newcomer, Desiree “Dirty Dez” Yanez (5-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA). Known for her exciting, all-action style, Arteaga has become a Bellator fan favorite in recent years. After gaining valuable title fight experience last April, Arteaga looks to take the next step in her development against the tough, gritty Yanez. Arteaga vs Yanez will open up the Bellator 250 main card, which begins at 6pm MST on the CBS Sports Network.
