Six months later, Veta Arteaga and Desiree Yanez get another opportunity to dance. The two high level flyweights will square off at Bellator 257: Nemkov vs Davis 2 on Friday, April 16 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. This fight was postponed when a positive COVID test forced the cancellation of their first scheduled meeting last October. Arteaga vs Yanez will headline the Bellator 257 prelims, which begin at 4pm MST on Showtime.
A former Bellator world-title challenger, Arteaga (5-4 MMA, 4-4 BMMA) looks to take the next step in her development against the tough, gritty Yanez (5-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA). Known for her exciting, all-action style, Arteaga has become a Bellator fan favorite in recent years. We are excited for Veta’s chance to showcase her improved skillset!
