We are kicking off our 2024 Muay Thai seminar series with a visit from Left Hand Muay Thai head coach, Nate Foster!
A Boise native, Nate began Muay Thai 13 years ago in Virginia after a bit of legal trouble found him away from home, on probation, and in need of a way to make friends and stay sober. He soon fell in love with the training, the people, and the healthy lifestyle Muay Thai offered him! Nate’s dedication to training eventually led him to the ring to test his skills. A 17 fight veteran and National Open Class silver medalist, Nate gained a reputation as a skilled training partner and competitor. After moving out to California in 2017, Nate became a sought-after sparring partner for many elite fighters – American Muay Thai legend, Kevin Ross, and UFC title challenger Brian Ortega, to name a few.
Last summer Nate opened his gym, Left Hand Muay Thai, where he continues to feed his passion for the art by helping others gain skill, strength, confidence, and resilience through training and competition!
