Combat Fitness/SBG Idaho athlete, Shino VanHoose, wasted little time securing her victory in the main event of ICF 22, this past Friday in Great Falls, Montana. Taking on Jody Lynn Reicher in the professional atomweight bout, VanHoose met Reicher with a hard right knee to the midsection, only seconds after the bell sounded. Shino followed with straight punches into a clinch along the cage, where more knees and elbows followed. A quick trip takedown, quickly led to more elbow-heavy ground and pound. When Reicher turned away to avoid more damage, VanHoose transitioned nicely to a belly-down armbar, and the first round submission victory.
With the win VanHoose improves her professional record to 4-3. Great job Shino, proud of you!
