This Saturday, May 24, the SBG Idaho BJJ squad is sending 2 teams to the Gate City 5 Quintet Tournament!
The quintet format is a unique, team-based, winner-stays-in competition designed to maximize excitement and strategy! Each lineup consists of 5 competitors (weight limit, men: 900lbs, women: 750 lbs) with 7 min rounds times, and EBI overtime if matches end in a draw.
The SBG Idaho Women’s Team will consist of brown belts – Charyl Rush, Sarah Keys, purple belts – Jill Sharp, Stephanie Basabe, and blue belt – Erica Basa. The SBG Idaho Men’s Team will be brown belt – Joe Hayes, purple belts – Triston Brooks, Jon Keys, and blue belts – Andrew Bergey, Max DeDera-Ferrari.
The event will kick off at 10am MST Saturday morning at PAC Jiu-Jitsu in Rexburg, Idaho and can be streamed on enigmajiujitsu.tv!
