Saturday, September 12, SBG Idaho grapplers Cub Hawkins, Nicki LaFrance, Coach Jacob Flores, Riley Martinez, and Coach Andrew Cruz hit the stage at Northwest Submission Challenge 9 from the historic Egyptian Theater in downtown Boise!
Coach Cruz defends his Lightweight Championship against Jeremiah Hooker at Black Belt. Martinez makes her Black Belt debut versus Maylean Johnson for the inaugural Women’s Middleweight Championship. Coach Flores collides with Chris Alvarez at Purple Belt. Hawkins and LaFrance open the night with Blue Belt scraps against Calvin Boswell and Amanda Sheffield, respectively.
The Northwest Submission Challenge is Idaho’s first and only submission-only superfight series. NWSC 9 will feature an exciting lineup of matches from Blue to Black Belt, Gi & No-Gi, with athletes from Idaho and surrounding states!
