UCF 20 is going down this Friday, June 30 at the Campion Ice House in Hailey and SBG Idaho athletes will be well represented in that night’s action. A last minute addition to the card is SBG Idaho Coach Stephen Stirewalt (3-6 MMA) who will be getting back into the cage after a 10 month layoff. Stephen has been hard at work training since his last appearance at Front Street Fights 9, taking gold at the Impact BJJ Tournament in Utah last November, and most recently, earning his Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from SBG Idaho Head BJJ Coach Scott Thometz. Stirewalt will be taking on Matt Holden (3-0 MMA) in an amateur bantamweight bout. Other changes to the card include an opponent change for Benjamin Hollier who will now be taking on Taylor Rogers (6-2 MMA) in another bantamweight bout. Other SBG Idaho athletes on the card include Kyle Frost and David Akers.
These last minute changes were made possible due to the fact that our athletes stay consistent with their training even when they don’t have a fight on the books. We are excited to see the hard work pay off this Friday night!!!
