Friday, August 18, 2017, Front Street Fights returns to CenturyLink Arena in the heart of downtown Boise, Idaho! The card will be headlined by a heavyweight bout featuring Luis Cortez taking on Ben Beebe. SBG Idaho, as always, will be well represented on the card as 4 SBG athletes will step into the cage. Kyle Frost (3-0 MMA, 2-0 FSF) looks to keep up his winning ways as he takes on Michael Farrer in a welterweight clash! The exciting Frost has yet to see the second round in his 3 fight career and looks to continue his rise against Farrer.
SBG Idaho Coach Steven Stirewalt (3-6 MMA) will be getting back into the cage after a nearly 1 year layoff. The layoff has been an active one as Stephen has been hard at work in the gym and on the mats since his last appearance at Front Street Fights 9. Last November, Stirewalt took gold at the Impact BJJ Tournament in Utah, earned his Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from SBG Idaho Head BJJ Coach Scott Thometz, and competed in the Purple Belt division at IBJJF American Nationals last month! Stirewalt will be taking on Jose Martinez in an amateur bantamweight bout.
In a highly anticipated bantamweight bout, former BSU wrestler Benjamin Hollier (1-1 MMA) will be taking on JohnBoy McComas in a rematch of their controversial bout at FSF 12. Hollier has been hard at work improving his game and plans to rewrite the story this time around.
Finally, young Kyle Aslami will finally make his debut in the cage after his fight at KOTC in June was scratched in the final hour. Kyle will be taking on Aaron Danes in an amateur flyweight contest.
All fighters will have tickets available for purchase at the gym. Show your support for your Tribe as we look forward to another great night for SBG Idaho at Front Street Fights 13!
