This Friday, three SBG Idaho MMA athletes enter the cage at Front Street Fights 19: McKinney vs McIntyre.
Stephen Stirewalt (2-1 MMA, 1-0 FSF) takes on Leon Taylor (2-2, 0-0 FSF) in a featured professional bantamweight clash. This fight is a rematch from a 2015 amateur bout, in which Stirewalt won by first round triangle choke. Since turning professional last year, Stirewalt has begun to really hit his stride, and looks to showcase his recent improvement against a familiar foe.
Also on the card that evening will be young up-and-comers Noah Shultz (3-2 MMA, 2-1 FSF) and Almir Talic (2-0 MMA, 1-0 FSF). Shultz is coming off a first round submission victory over Timmy Garcia last December. With the win, Shultz earned the Fusion Fight League flyweight championship, and looks to continue that momentum against Nacho Navarro (2-0 MMA, 1-0 FSF) in an exciting amateur flyweight showdown.
At only 19 years old, Talic is only beginning to scratch the surface of his ability. Winning by first round submission in his first two fights, he will take a step up in competition against the more experienced Tanner Chapman (4-2 MMA, 0-0 FSF) in an amateur lightweight matchup.
Front Street Fights 19: McKinney vs MsIntyre goes down at CenturyLink Arena in beautiful downtown Boise, Idaho at 7pm this Friday, April 19.
