SBG Idaho mixed martial artist, Ricky Steele, makes his return to the cage on Friday, Sept 4 when he contends for Legacy Fighting Alliance gold! The undefeated Steele (6-0 MMA, 2-0 LFA) takes on fellow unbeaten prospect, Zviad Lazishvili (12-0 MMA, 1-0 LFA) for the LFA bantamweight (135 lb) World Title! This championship showdown will serve as the main event of LFA 90 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Steele last appeared in the cage one year ago at Dana White’s Contender Series, picking up a decision victory over another undefeated prospect, Phil Caracappa. Since that time, Steele has remained consistent in his training and steadfast in his resolve to be a World Champion! His opponent, Lazishvili, is a decorated wrestler from Georgia who made his LFA debut last November. LFA is one of the prominent feeder promotions for the UFC, and this title fight will serve as a great audition for that opportunity!
