Newly minted SBG Idaho Belt and professional mixed martial artist, Stephanie Hernandez, makes her return to the cage on Saturday, September 26, at Mountain Force MMA 18! Hernandez (1-1 MMA, 0-0 MTF) will lock horns with North Carolina’s Katie Perez (1-1 MMA, 0-0 MTF) in the atomweight (105 lb) co-main event that evening! MTF 18 goes down at the Cashe Valley Event Center in Logan, UT.
Hernandez was last in action at LFA 75, where she earned a split decision over Chrisoula Koukouvetakis. Both Hernandez and Perez were scheduled to fight this past December at MTF 14, but a previous medical suspension of Perez forced Idaho Athletic Commission officials to nix the bout. Hernandez is one of SBG Idaho’s hardest workers and most consistent competitors. We can’t wait to see her next performance and wish both athletes safety as they finish their final weeks of training!
