On Saturday, June 18th SBG Idaho will be hosting a St. Baldrick’s Head Shaving, beginning at 12pm! St. Baldrick’s is a non-profit organization that raises funds for life saving childhood cancer research through these head shaving events.
Anyone interested in registering as a “shavee” must raise a minimum of $100 in order to get their head shaved. If you don’t want to shave your head, you can still support a great cause by donating to the fundraising campaign of others who are, donate just a lock of your hair, which can be used to help make wigs, volunteer to help the event run smoothly, or for any barbers out there – donate your services to a great cause!
When we support these events we not only raise money researchers depend on, but we raise awareness and show support to children and families who have been affected by cancer, and hopefully provide them a little happiness and hope.
