SBG Idaho will have a busy upcoming month, as we have athletes competing on two events in June!
First we have SBG Idaho Coach and black belt Scott Thometz (10-6 MMA, 0-0 KOTC) in the main event on June 17 at King of the Cage “Quick Draw”, coming from the Shoshone-Bannock Chief’s Event Center in Fort Hall, Idaho. Thometz will be looking to get back in the win column against the always game Kerry Lattimer in a professional lightweight (155 lb) bout! Also representing SBG Idaho on the card will be Andrew Cruz (4-1 MMA, 0-0 KOTC), who takes on Vince Fricilone, in another professional lightweight bout. Rounding out the event will be young Kyle Aslami who will be making his amateur MMA debut against Aaron Jennings at flyweight (125 lb)!
Two weeks later, SBG Idaho will be representing at UCF 20, which goes down June 30 at the Campion Ice House in Hailey, Idaho! Front Street Fights alums Kyle Frost (2-0) will look to tack on another victory against Aaron Groedhart at welterweight (170 lb) and Benjamin Hollier (1-1) looks to get back in the win column against Richie Zuniga in a featured bantamweight (135 lb) contest. Also, young gun David Akers, will be making his amateur MMA debut against Luis Magana in a strawweight (115 lb) bout!
Looking forward to seeing all the progress our athletes make as they prep for these events!
