Another Front Street Fights is upon us, and this Friday night 5 of our MMA athletes enter the cage to put their skills to the test at FSF 33 in downtown Boise.
SBG Black Belt and Coach, Andrew “Hurricane” Cruz will once again defend home turf when he puts his Featherweight strap on the line against Daeri Alderman. All gas, no brakes – the all-action Cruz (9-6 MMA, 3-1 FSF) successfully defended his title last year against UFC veteran, Trevin Jones, and he faces another stiff test against the dangerous Alderman (6-2 MMA, 0-0 FSF) in a fight that’s guaranteed to be fireworks!
The evening’s co-main event sees our own Coach Stephen “Da Pork Pounda” Stirewalt (6-6 MMA, 4-0 FSF) back in action when he takes on Enzo “New Religion” Perez (5-3 MMA, 0-0 FSF) in a professional Bantamweight scrap. Stirewalt has been on a heater recently, with 2 stoppage victories in the last 6 months! Stirewalt looks to keep the momentum going against the speedy Perez.
SBG Idaho will also be well-represented during the amateur undercard, with 3 of our younger athletes entering the cage! Sam Diteman (1-0 MMA, 0-0 FSF) vs Anthony Lee (debut) in a Welterweight bout, Abraham Kparswah (1-0 MMA, 0-0 FSF) vs Colter Lee (debut) at Featherweight, and Joe Hippler (debut) vs Lukas Kanownik (debut) at Lightweight. All 3 of these young bucks have been looking great in training and we can’t wait to watch them perform tomorrow night!
