SBG Idaho mixed martial artists Noah “Constrictor” Shultz and Codey “The Barncat” Benishek make their return to the cage tomorrow night at Fusion Fight League: DeJesus vs Phillips at the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds in Helena, MT!
Shultz (5-3 MMA, 2-2 FFL) is part of the Rising Stars Flyweight tournament, whose winner will determine the next FFL Flyweight Championship challenger. Shultz is a former champion himself and looks to stake his claim as the number one contender by topping the tournament field. Shultz will take on Christopher Marcus (5-3 MMA, 0-0 FFL) in what should be an exciting first round matchup!
Benishek (0-1 MMA, 0-0 FFL) makes his long awaited return to the cage against Jose Mendez (1-0, 0-0 FFL) in an amateur lightweight bout. Benishek has been away from the cage for a few years, but in that time has improved all areas of game and recently earned his BJJ Blue Belt. We are excited to watch Codey display all his hard work!
