A Successful Night Of Muay Thai For Combat Fitness Contingent In Japan- Results & Videos

Combat Fitness/SBG Idaho’s Hunter VanHoose recorded the biggest professional win of his young career, knocking off Japan’s WPMF (World Professional Muay Thai Federation) Super Bantam Weight Champion, Masaki Takeuchi, in a 5 round, non-title fight main event. Scores were 48-47 across the board for Hunter who raced to a quick three rounds to none lead before Takeuchi mounted a comeback in the final two rounds, in a fantastic fight! Awesome job Hunter!!!

On the amateur undercard that night, CF/SBG Idaho’s Josh Wick picked up a unanimous decision (20-18) win in a 2 round bout. Hunter’s younger brother, Koji, fought twice that night, going 1-1, with a 20-18 unanimous decision win in the first bout and suffering a 20-18 unanimous decision loss in the second.
