Scott Jorgensen’s camp will be appealing his loss to Jussier “Formiga” da Silva at last Sunday’s UFC Fight Night in Natal, Brazil.
Early in the opening round of their flyweight bout, da Silva’s head struck Jorgensen’s chin, knocking him to the ground. Formiga was able to secure the back of a dazed Jorgensen and secure a rear naked choke. Replays clearly showed the headbutt, which appeared accidental.
